Dr. Mari Dumbaugh leads the insight impact global team.

Dr. Dumbaugh, Principal & Lead Consultant, is experienced at every level of evaluation & research design, training, data collection, analysis & reporting. She is first and co-author on a number of peer-reviewed publications and program evaluation reports.
Specializing in mixed-methods maternal, child, sexual & reproductive health, health behavior change & health social science research, Dr. Dumbaugh has collaborated as an evaluation and research consultant, worked as a field research coordinator and research assistant on a wide variety of projects including large-scale quantitative surveys, in-depth qualitative studies and extensive academic and policy reviews. She has worked in sub-Saharan Africa & Southeast Asia, collaborating with a number of internationally-recognized institutions.

Vanessa Di Cecco is a researcher, consultant, educator and evaluator in the fields of global health, international development and gender and sexuality. Originally from the US, she has dual US-Argentina citizenship and has lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina since 2007. She has substantial knowledge of diverse Global South contexts, especially but not limited to Latin America, and has served as a consultant on international teams evaluating processes and programs in diverse regions. Her sociocultural epidemiological approach integrates social theory and qualitative and quantitative methods, with an emphasis on participatory research processes. She is presently completing her PhD at the University of Buenos Aires focused on generating methods to produce quantitative data regarding LGBTIQ+ populations in Argentina.

Wyvine Bapolisi is a medical doctor and health researcher, program evaluator and educator with more than 12 years of experience in her professional fields. Wyvine is originally from Bukau, South Kivu where she obtained her medical degree, and has worked as a clinician and academic.
Wyvine has a doctorate in Epidemiology which focused on mixed methods health program evaluation from the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute in Switzerland. Wyvine has worked on various research consultancies throughout her professional career.

With a decade of experience in international cooperation, Nolwenn Gontard focuses on programme quality, monitoring, evaluation, and research to generate evidence that drives impact. She supports organisations to strengthen strategies, learning, and knowledge management, with technical expertise in gender equality, child protection, SGBV prevention and response, and empowerment.

Andrea is the co-founder of Novametrics, a research and knowledge management consultancy, specialising in sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn, and adolescent health. Andrea has a PhD in social statistics, and experience in the production of research reports for organisations including WHO, UNFPA, Save the Children, PMNCH and UNICEF. In 2019 she designed and taught a short course in gender-sensitive data collection and analysis on behalf of UN Women and UNODC in several Asian countries. She has led baseline and endline evaluations for several Save the Children projects involving adolescents, and midwifery workforce and maternal and newborn health programs in several African countries. Andrea is a native English speaker with an intermediate knowledge of French.

Martin Boyce is the co-founder and Managing Director of Novametrics, a research and knowledge management consultancy, specialising in health workforce planning. Since 2016, Novametrics has collaborated with global agencies including WHO, UNFPA, ILO, Gavi, Save the Children and ICM. Martin carried out all the analysis, modelling and projections for the State of the World’s Midwifery 2021 report. He recently co-authored a peer-reviewed economic evaluation of midwife-led birthing centres in Bangladesh, Uganda and Pakistan, and a paper examining the future of the Australian midwifery workforce. Martin brings ten years’ experience working in global health and more than thirty years’ experience developing and running successful businesses. Martin is a Chartered Engineer and prior to founding Novametrics, he led businesses in Aerospace, environmental technology, packaging and construction.
